I’m sure some of you have wondered where I might have wandered off to. It’s been a few days since I’ve posted, but I have a good reason. I got a new job

I’ll still be working in post-secondary IT, but now as a Systems Manager. It’s something that I’ve been working hard to get to for quite some time now. Overall I’m thrilled both for the change and the new challenge.

What about the blog? Well that’s hard to say. I should still have plenty of time at home to write so I’m not expecting drastic changes, but it’s hard to tell how much extra time the position may demand of me at certain times of year. One of the areas where they are expecting growth and change is in their web offerings so I’m sure that I’ll have plenty of new topics in the web development arena to discuss with you, though it may come from a different point of view.

Overall I suspect that it will push me into a blog maturation period which I’ve been fending off to date. The ideal end scenario is fewer, better posts. How will it all work out? Who knows. Only time will tell. I still enjoy working with the web and don’t see that changing anytime soon so I hope that you’ll enjoy the ride over the next while as things slowly improve or stay exactly the same
