Wow, talk about a ridiculous mistake… After first losing a hefty chunk of my traffic due to what I consider to be a problem with the Automatic Upgrade plugin, I found that it didn’t seem to be coming back on schedule.
I once again started investigating things and once again came to the same conclusion. My redirects haven’t been working. The lines that I had quite specifically added to redirect all www addresses to non-www addresses just weren’t there. I have no idea how that happened, but I’ve added them once again and will keep a closer eye on things over the next while to be sure that the redirects stay there.
I now have to reset my counter in terms of waiting for my traffic to come back. Should be about a month from now.
