I’ve been waiting for this sale for a while now, and it’s now on If you recall, earlier this month, I went to Canadian Tire looking for a price break on their Mastercraft band saw. While I didn’t get a price break, I did get some helpful information and now I can go buy it for $50 less than if I had been impatient. You see while I am making a reasonable sum at the moment such that I don’t really need to go sale hunting, I like to do it anyways because it means I can get more of the tools I need in the end.

I won’t have that much time to use it this weekend as I have some other plans in place, but I should be able to get cracking soon enough and try to figure out how I’m going to mount those bearings I bought and the hubs that need to go in them. If I only had a metal lathe, I’d have everything I needed to get the job done right…
