When it comes to software today, it’s all about the user experience. Gone are the days when features alone are going to allow you to dominate the market. I’m sure you can think of a few examples quite easily
Morphing software is nothing new or revolutionary. It’s been around for a long time. But Morpheus’ photo-morpher is looking to make its mark by improving the user experience. I took about 5 minutes and morphed two differently sized files together. I created this small movie that morphed a picture of my cat and one of me. This is the halfway point:
Having never used software like this, I was really impressed as to just how easy it was to get this result from just five minutes of poking around. All I had to do was place matching points on each photo. Morpheus Photo-Morpher made it just that easy.
But you might be asking yourself, “When would I ever need to use something like this?” Well, I doubt you’ll ever need to use morphing software, but just think of all of the extras that you could fit in to your multimedia. If you create your own videos, what could make a cooler scene change than a well placed and well executed morph.
What about creating multiple morphs within a presentation. Perhaps take something like my previous robot models and move from one version to the next, then to the next and so forth. All that’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure you can come up with much better ideas as to how you can apply it within your own projects. Just let your imagination run wild.
