Joomla SEO

Joomla is a very popular content management system. It’s used all over the web by many people, but as with many content management systems, it has some minor problems out of the box. One of the problems is that Joomla’s not terribly SEO friendly upon initial install. That’s the bad news.

The good news is that there’s a company that’s in it to help with Joomla SEO. They have modules that can take care of a whole pile of SEO issues in one fell swoop. While they offer Joomla specific SEO help, they also offer broader SEO services as well.

SEO isn’t the only answer though. There are lots of other components to take into account. SEM is a much bigger part of building traffic then ever before. It’s a complicated strategy if you want to get the best bang for your buck. As always, you can just throw money at the problem and succeed, but if you don’t have limitless funds or want to get the best ROI you can, then you’re going to need to either spend a lot of time managing your PPC campaign or hire someone else like Serr.biz to take care of it for you.

If your time is best spent on other parts of your business, then hire a firm to handle your SEO/SEM/etc… for you. You know what you’re good at, you don’t want to spend excessive time working on things you’re weaker at when you know you can outsource the work.

Yip, I agree…Joomla is a very popular content management system but not so good on SEO. Hiring a firm specialized on SEO is the answer, in order to leave you more quality time to concentrate on your business growth and strategies.

    Hello,
what I need to do if I want you to write an article about my project?

  • 3 Marc // Aug 23, 2007 at 12:42 pm

Rafael: That’s very true for those business oriented people. I’m on the opposite side where I’m stronger on the technical side of things and am investigating outsourcing other parts of my operation :)

Max: Just click on the big red button to the right that says Hire Me and follow the steps.

I’m trying Joomla for one of our next sites. The SEO friendliness is a concern.

It’s a concern with pretty much all content management systems.

I run a number of Joomla! sites.

All do well at the search engines.

If you set up Joomla! properly — and more importantly, populate your sites with terrific niched content that other people link to with excitement, you’ll do fine.

That’s certainly true, if you set it up properly. While blogging’s traditionally been used by the technologically savvy, we’re seeing more and more people with little web experience but significant niche knowledge. That’s where services like this can come into play.
