If you’ve gotten into the money making web game from a technical background, one of the things that I suspect you’ll struggle with is the marketing side of things. I say that because that’s certainly been my experience. I’ve no problem putting the things I want on the web in the manner that I would like, but I’ve had to spend a long time getting the hang of marketing and promotion.
Adpack is a product that’s geared towards people with a similar background as mine. We know what we’re doing technologically, but lack creativity when it comes to marketing ideas. If you want to cut to the chase and see how it works, go check out their demo right now. The whole idea is centered around a near game-like interface. You have three stacks of cards, media cards, offer cards and power word cards. You randomly choose one of each and lay them out on the board. The example they use has “Tele-Marketing”, “Deluxe Version” and “Save”. This would suggest to you to take on a tele-marketing campaign offering a deluxe version of your product, perhaps including all of the extras that you try to sell along with it or some bonus feature, and show them how they’ll save with this offer as compared to buying each of the parts individually. There are 50 cards of each type which are enough to generate 125,000 marketing ideas.
I actually genuinely like the idea behind this product. It’s very simple and easy to use, each of the media and offer cards offer more details on the back to help you out and you can remove any cards from the deck that you either don’t like or are impractical for you. For example, I’m personally not a fan of tele-marketing campaigns so I’d get rid of that one as I played around trying to get ideas for marketing strategies. The way I see it, this system essentially works as something that will effectively help you break through the marketer’s equivalent of writers block.
The price tag? Well it’s a little stiff at $297 US, but they do a great job of reminding you that it’s less than you would spend on a very small ad in the newspaper. When put into perspective that’s not that bad if you’re active in marketing your products and services. They also offer a 30 day, no questions asked, money back guarantee. But above and beyond that they’re offering a second guarantee (scroll to the bottom to find it):
SECOND, I GUARANTEE you results! That’s right, I personally guarantee that if you use the simple, proven techniques and strategies in adpack, you’ll produce at least TEN TIMES as much PROFIT as you invested in this package within the next 12 months. TEN TIMES extra profits you never would have seen without adpack, or I’ll refund every cent you paid for adpack. All you have to do is show me that you have made an effort to use the strategies in adpack and if they don’t work for you, you get your money back. It’s that simple.
Judging from the rest of the site it seems as though the second guarantee is only good with the offer they’re currently running with all the extras attached as well. So if you like that kind of guarantee you’ll need to order before that offer expires. You’re going to have to work at it if you want to try and cash in this guarantee though. That alone should double to triple your sales. But still, the Adpack will likely help you a lot by showing you different ideas that you may not have considered.
I’m also not finding any fine print anywhere that would bring into question the real validity of the guarantees. They look to be as advertised. I can understand that though because it’s easy to guarantee a good product.
Overall I like the product and I love the sales pitch. They’re spot on in how to sell this thing and I don’t doubt that they’re going to sell a lot of them. If you have any questions about Adpack that weren’t answered here go check out their FAQ. I have to hand it to them, they’ve got a great product and it’s worth checking out.
