These days the most popular type of lawyer in L.A. is someone who will help with a DUI case. It still astounds me that people who can afford to have someone drive them around everywhere, everyday feel the need to drive to a place where they’re fully intending on drinking. I’ve had to use lawyers a couple of times in my life, thankfully not for anything relating to criminal activity, but I can speak to the overall value of hiring someone who really knows their stuff. The same tends to apply no matter what industry you look at, but while you can fake your way through a plumbing fix, if a lawyer is called for as you do something, it’s pretty hard to fake your way through it without one.
One thing that I think the KEG firm did well with their site was to add basic information on things like their approach to DUIs and DUI information in general.
The site is actually a really good starting point for someone just trying to figure out what’s going on with a particular situation.

To finish off, I’d like to remind you all that the best defence against a DUI is to avoid drinking and driving in the first place. Cabs are cheap, if you don’t want to be seen in a cab because you’re too famous, hire a limo. Do what you have to do, just don’t drink and drive.
