Ash, that looks like a great guitar.  Is the finish shiny or flat?  It looks fairly flat in the picture but it&#039;s hard to tell.  Bummer about the crack in the neck from the screw.  Some pilot holes would have helped there.

As for graphics, I like the idea you had thought of with a tribal style pattern.  Just go with white, it&#039;ll look great.  Depending on the paint finish though you may have trouble with the white being shiny from a decal and the black being flat from the paint.  If you go over all of it with lacquer at the end then it shouldn&#039;t matter.
