I finally gave in and joined facebook. If you’re on it, you can check out my profile. I’ve hesitated do get involved since I found Orkut to be such as bust. Linkedin has shown itself to be useful to me so I thought that it would suffice. But Linkedin is a very professional based system in contrast to facebook’s very social environment. So it seems there’s room for both for me.
The final push was the reminder that social networks are a great way to get publicity for your blog. That’s certainly true and since I’m looking for some promotional venues as of late, I couldn’t really pass up the chance.
