Furniture For A Home Office

It’s tax time and for some of us that means refund! While we won’t be using our refund to buy furniture directly, it will place us in a position where we might be able to within a couple of months. At the top of the list is home office furniture.

Our home office still has that student furniture in it and we’ve been itching to replace it ever since we moved into the house. GreatPricedFurniture.com has a bunch of the stuff that I’d love to get. Their layout is really busy up at the top, but gets nice and simple as you go down. They’ve got representative photos of each category which is a huge help. I wouldn’t have known what a home office credenza & hutch was without seeing a picture. Just looking at it, I was able to tell that it’s not what I need. We’re personally going to be looking for simple furniture. A sensible office chair, a nice desk and a good solid bookcase are the three major pieces we’re looking for. They provide a nice selection for each of those categories. They’ve got items ranging from reasonably priced to high end to suite your particular needs.

One feature that I really appreciate is the more pictures option. On many websites, you get small to medium sized images, and at that maybe only 2 or 3 tops. For some of their nicer items, they’ve got lots of big, detailed images to really let you get a good look at what you’re buying before you commit. For example, the National Geographic map bookcase has 11 pictures and they’re all great shots.

There’s also lots of additional information for each item as well as show any other items from that collection if there are any. That’s really handy as you’re trying to match a room together.

Unfortunately some items require a quote rather than having the price listed directly on the website. While that’s a pain, it’s usually mandated by the manufacturer and website owners don’t have a choice in the matter. It’s a necessary evil.

Overall, while the website has that same general furniture website look and feel, it really sets itself apart with additional features like the number and quality of the images.
