Your Own Network Drive Without The Network

While IBackup offers a host of online backup options for you, that’s not all that you can do with the storage space.

IBackup offers a great online storage option for anyone who wants a readily accessible network drive that runs over the Internet. You can use it either through iDrive, which mounts the storage space as a network drive or via web folders which work similarly but show up as folders. There are more differences, but I’ll leave it to you to figure out which one will work best for your particular situation.

You don’t have to worry about your data being read by anyone else either since no matter which method you use to mount the space, both offer 128 bit encryption making sure that you and IBackup are the only ones to see your data.

It goes without saying that the files you store on the IBackup space are backed up and you don’t need to worry about a hard drive failure or laptop theft robbing you of your data. If you keep your working documents there, your backup strategy is taken care of.

So consider your needs and your options and see if using IBackup as a network attached storage is for you.
