More On PayPerPost Affiliate Program

Since my last post on PPP’s latest affiliate program, the program’s apparently taken off. You include a badge like the one I have below this post, then if someone clicks it and signs up to PPP, they will get an op to review your blog post worth $7.50 and you get paid $7.50. You also get the benefits of the review. You essentially become an advertiser at this point with on of your own blog ads for free.

One of the points that PPP points out that I hadn’t thought of is that with this you can use this program as a straight up affiliate program and not write any sponsored posts at all. I’m not quite sure how this would compare to other affiliate programs since the payout is fairly low and the pool of potential subscribers is smaller than for most programs. Then again, you’re not actually asking someone to plunk down a chunk of cash on anything. They’re actually going to be rewarded. So it’s an easier sell. In the end it’s a benefit to both parties.

So if you’re looking to gain off of PPP’s affiliate program, this is a pretty easy sell. There’s not much convincing to do. Even though the pool might be small, getting 100 bloggers would payout $750 which is not too shabby at all.
