Remote PC

A problem that many people have to deal with is the need to get into your work computer from home. One solution to that problem is RemotePC Remote Access. They’ve got a demo of how their product works on their website. I can’t say enough about demos like this. They really help potential customers get a tangible idea of how your product works.

One of the helpful features in this product is that you don’t need a static IP to connect. That’s actually quite interesting and something that I hadn’t really considered. In my environment we’ve got static IPs all over, but I know that’s not always the case. Another of their major selling points is that the setup’s pretty simple.

One item I can’t seem to get much information on is the data path. I’m not sure if your data goes through their servers or if they’re just a means of authentication. This would be an important consideration if you were to try out their software. If you do want to try it out, they offer a 30 day trial so you can find out if it’s going to work for you and your environment.
