In my dealings in the blogosphere and elsewhere on the web I’ve found that Myspace layout pages are the new hot commodity. These things generate tremendous amounts of traffic all from people looking for a way to customize their Myspace page. Well here’s a set that’s on topic for me 
As you know I’m into cars. Especially fun cars. While I don’t like Ford as a company I really do like the vintage Mustangs. I’ve even got a soft spot for their latest iteration. So if you like Mustangs and are on Myspace you should have a look at these Mustang Myspace layouts. While they’re not quite my cup of tea I’ve rarely found a Myspace layout that I do like.
The really interesting component here though is that this website is not a traditional Myspace layout page. This is an auto parts website that’s combining their expertise, Mustangs, with a topical item that lots of people are interested in. By combining these two into a free item for visitors they end up with a great draw. Take note people, this is intelligent, alternative traffic generation at work. Anyone who’s going to be interested in the themes are going to like Mustangs and/or have a Mustang related Myspace page. This opens up a lot of potential backlink opportunities aside from the direct traffic that they’ll end up getting because they’re offering something that people want for free. Best of all it’s a pretty low cost venture.
