If you’re going to make minor changes to stuff that you use, like the minor change I made to the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin I use, write up a small blog post about it so you can easily find out what it was that you changed. You’ll thank yourself when an update comes out.
Ultimate Tag Warrior just came out with a new update and I was able to quickly look up the change I had previously made to get rid of the Yahoo suggestion tool and was able to repeat the process very quickly without any problems. With all of the time you spend sifting through source to find these minor things in the first place, it’s well worth your while to write about it. Not only will you benefit from it yourself, others attempting to make the same change may find your fix and use it themselves.
