Akismet has protected your site from 1,363 spam comments.
All of that with 3 false positives. Yes, that’s right, that’s a 0.22% false positive rate. While that’s exceptionally good for spam detection software there are a few contributing factors that skew the numbers a little. First of all, I get an disproportionate amount of spam when compared to comments. That means there’s less of a chance of a false positive in the first place. Secondly, many of my comments come from people who’ve already posted.
Overall Akismet is by far the best plugin for Wordpress I’ve yet to install.
