There’s a neat little feature that I tested out in the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin. There’s a checkbox that will set the category as a tag. It seemed like a good idea at the time. However there is one problem with it.
If you have a lot of posts in a category and you plan to show links to related posts at the bottom of a post, like I do, you’re going to run into a problem. That problem is that you’ll have a huge volume of related links. So many that it will not end up being useful to your users. So unless you have very few posts in each category and plan to keep it that way, don’t turn on this feature.
