Tagging

I started tagging some of my older stuff last night but didn’t get too far because I wanted to see how the rest of the bits and pieces would fit together. The Tag Cloud page isn’t very pretty at the moment, but that’s all cosmetic. The functionality is there and working fine. Same deal if you click on any particular tag to see related pages. There’s also a minor bug where the last two tags won’t be comma seperated. Minor fix for that one I’m sure.

One feature that I really like though is that after you’ve tagged all your stuff, your tags appear at the bottom of you Write Post window so you can just click them to add. A nice little feature that helps to keep typos from creeping in to your tags. There’s also a tag suggestion tool from Yahoo as well. I’m not thrilled with that thing and will be eliminating it from my interface later on this evening.

So far so good. I’m digging the tagging.
