Google recently introduced a program for certifying Google Advertising Professionals. The program is such that you can go to a company like Apogee, that is certified, and trust that they know what they’re doing when it comes to running your Google Adwords campaign. But they don’t just do Adwords, they’re able to do all kinds of paid search management. All that being said, remember to do your due dilligence when it comes to hiring any professional. Just because they’re certified, doesn’t mean they’re necessarily right for you or your situation. Give them a call and talk to them, ask for references, see if they’re a good fit for you and your business.
If you feel like you’ve got a good handle on your own search marketing you can still drop by their search blog for lots of helpful information. They’ve got a nice, clean, unobtrusive site. For that I tip my hat to them. It’s still extremely enticing for people to go big and flashy with their sites, but at the end of the day, it’s so much more comfortable for end users to read and browse through clean and clear web pages.
