And Getting Crazier By The Second

April 7th, 2010 · 13 Comments · Rants

Much like those who roam the streets aimlessly with mental illness, I look at the US and just wish that they could get well.

An american dermatologist has fired an employee over the fact that they voted for Obama and has gone on to brag about it on a forum. This link is to a screencap since the original thread has been taken down by the host.

This is something that I thought only happened in “those” countries. You know, North Korea, Burma, China, Saudi Arabia, etc… In Canada, we believe in the freedom to vote for who you choose with no repercussions. It’s something that separates the free countries from those who are not.

This is just one incident amongst many as of late that have really been pushing the boundaries of what most of the world considers personal freedom. It seems like it’s getting really crazy down there.

We’re not angry at you, we’re not looking down at you, we’re genuinely concerned about you. We know that you can heal and put things like this behind you. We want you to get well soon.

FYI the link no longer works.

Thanks, I put in a new link to a screencap. The traffic from all points on the web was probably a bit of a pain for them to deal with.

I truly don’t understand the outrage that so many right-leaning people have towards Obama. It’s okay if you disagree with him and think he’s too liberal for your taste, but the downright hatred towards him is crazy.

I find it hard to understand such a hate toward a politic view. I mean, we live in a democracy, not some third world, where you are dictated what to vote or you get your wrists chopped off.

You know things like this really make me wonder. We hear about the great firewall of china and other countries news and information being censored from the general public. I actually wonder living here in the U.S. how much of our news and content is censored by some retired CIA or NSA guy that get’s paid to allow or disallow what get’s made public and what doesn’t.

I just don’t get the personal hatred towards Obama and towards those that voted for him. I mean I thought W was an idiot and i didn’t like him. But I didn’t hate him.. And I didn’t hate those that voted for him..

I think deep down the hatred is race related and no one will admit it..

Hatred is a waste of an emotion and people who feel such rage against someone thay have never met are wasting their energy.

Obama should be embraced for what he represents.

Yes, America WE ARE concerned about your welfare! You know this was going to happen when Obama was elected. This is good believe it or not because it brings out the truth in people and exposes them for who they are!
