If You Have A Development Team, You Need One Of These

So the Pay Per Post team blew a release yesterday. As punishment they all have to wear their Chicken Hat of Code Breakage. I love the idea.

I can’t count how many times I’ve had a programmer come into my office with that look. You know that look. It’s equal parts panic, fear and shame. They just broke something major and aren’t really sure how to fix it. Luckily I’ve got good students working for me and I don’t think a major break has happened twice to the same person.

I’ve got to go find some interesting hat or shirt to use in our office.
