Owen And Gerry

If you’re Acadian or know fishermen, you’ll like Owen and Gerry. They’ve been playing them a lot on Q104 as of late. They even showed up for a live show. This is their story.

    I live in Salt Lake City, Utah (5000 km away) …… my brother sent this link to Owen and Gerry from Pubnico. I watched the two videos including the Q104 interview and song. You should approach ‘This Hour Has 22 Minutes’ or create your own show, and just go on road trips and talk in that ‘wharfside francais’ that you do. It’s funny and I guarantee it will be a hit amongst Maritimers. My brother and I do a similar version of wharfside comedy every time we get together using ‘da sout shure’ Lunenburg County accent……… I think everyone does…….that’s what makes your bit so funny because we can all relate. Since this song came out, I’ve been trying to find a way to order it online……any website yet? I’ll gladly pay someone to send me the CD. Thanks guys and enjoy the fame.

    Glad that you guys think that what we’re doing is funny, and I’m also glad that nobody has found it to be offensive so far. Because we’re not trying to offend anybody.
    Going on Q104 in Halifax was an awesome experience. I took some footage of another show we played in Dartmouth, for Tour Tech. We played for almost 3000 people there. It’s also viewable on Youtube.
