I checked out a new website today that covers movie reviews and more. Unfortunately, I found that there was a lot of “and more” with not as many movie reviews. That being said, I’m standing in a gigantic gass house and am tossing some fairly large stones when I say that.
The good news is that I like the reviews. They reviewed The Breakup, which Colleen and I watched a couple of weeks ago. I completely agree with their review of this movie. Though it had a bunch of funny parts, the horrible editing and storyline problems just didn’t make up for it.
Overall I think the website could benefit greatly from being a bit more review oriented on the homepage. Have a list of top five best movies/tv shows/products/etc… and bottom five. I’d like to know what the best and worst things they’ve reviewed are right away. That’s just me though, I rarely want to know about a particular movie. If I want to see it, I will no matter the reviews. But there are times that I’m just looking to find something good, no matter what that might be. In that case a list of best and worst would really help me out.
Reviewsandmore.net is still growing and I’d like to wish them the best of luck from one blogger to another.
