2007 Toyota Yaris Review - Part 2

December 3rd, 2006 · No Comments

I’ve been driving this car for a few days now and I have to say that I’m liking it less and less the more I drive it. The problems with seeing through the rear window that I pointed out in my last post on the 2007 Toyota Yaris have continued. It’s just a fundamental flaw between myself and the ergonomics of the vehicle.

But one thing that I’ve found extremely difficult is that they’ve located the speedometer exactly in the centre of the dash. I’m sure it’s great for a driver’s-ed car and all so that the instructor can more easily monitor the speed of their students. But for me, it’s just very difficult to look completely away from the road to check my speed. That really doesn’t work for me. I’m going to give Enterprise a call tomorrow and see if I can swap it for something else. They’ve been really nice and accomodating so far.
