Do it because they don’t belong on your hood anymore than a BMW emblem belongs on your KIA. A functional hood scoop is a beautiful thing. It’s a tremendous statement that says that your engine needs so much air to combust that it has to reach out into the wind and grab some. You make so much power that the normal amount of air just won’t do.
By all means put a functional hood scoop on your fire breathing engine. But don’t put a fake hood scoop on your car to look cool. It only ends up making you look like a wanker when people walk up to your vehicle and realise that it’s non-functional.
